             This page is dedicated to the "other" animals in our lives that make our family who we are.

            Reepicheep is the newest member of our family. She's an American Satin cavy we brought home from the county fair. She's very sweet and she's the first cavy/guinea pig we've ever had. She making us change our minds about disliking the chubby little rodents for we've (well mostly all of us) have fallen in love with her sweet face and quiet ways.

                Buddy is our Grandfather's dog but he's a big part of our lives since he's the only dog of the house. He's a chow mix that our grandfather  got as a puppy and his favorite past times are  (unfortunately) chasing skunks, casing the ranches cattle, taking walks with our Mother, and cooling off in the pond.

            Boots is the only "house" cat and he lives it up. Instead of having a bed where he tends to sleep he enjoys sleeping in the oddest of places and scaring people as they stumble upon him. He isn't very tolerant and thinks highly of himself. He rarely enjoys a good pet and only if it was himself who thought of the idea. Otherwise all you'll receive is a disgusted look and perhaps a growl.

             Mac is a very special kitty in our household. Though he belongs to Justena we all love the little family man. When he was still only a kitten he broke his front leg on the 4th of July. The vets put a pin in his leg and he had several operations and a long healing period before he was finally as good as new. Though he has a bone spur now he's still a very happy little kitty who loves to trail people around and romp around in the vineyard all day.

               A few years ago we were overrun with cats and the continuous litters of kittens. Through hard work and a lot of help from kind people we spade and neutered all of them but one who we couldn't catch .                                                                                                                                                         

      Vanina is Justena's rather feral tabby calico cat. She is the mother of Snowfire, Cheyenne, and Tucker, Justena's kitty who disappeared. She had the kittens before she was fixed . 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Masquerade is Veronica's first cat. She'd rather not be caught because she prefers to live away from the house and people, but when you do catch her she's the happiest cat alive, purring up a storm and kneading her claws into you.

 Cheyenne is also Veronica's cat. She is Vanina's daughter and a long haired calico. She's a sweetie pie and loves to crawl into peoples laps. She loves attention and thinks it's her duty to befriend the guests of the ranch with her bright blue eyes and soft white fur.

 Indi is Masquerade's sister though she looks much older. She's Mallory's first cat and though she's deaf and rather lazy she's very friendly and enjoys attention.

 Nermal is on the feral side and belongs to Mallory. He's one of the only two kittens the first cat we ever had.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Simba is Dominique's first cat and a very gentleman like figure in his old age. Though he's a bit shy he loves to be petted. He is also Indi and Masquerade's 

brother.     

Snowfire is also Dominique's cat and Cheyenne's brother. Though he's shy and reserved if you're quiet and respectful you can win his trust. He has a secretive place in his heart where he hides all his love for people though he doesn't show it without you earning it. Once befriended he loves to be petted and talked to.    

Rose was one of the two cats we brought with us when we moved. She's over fourteen years old now and though she's slightly feral she doesn't mind being held once she's caught.

 India (Meow Meow)~ We found India hiding in a bush in front of our Piano Teacher's house. She was skinny and hungry yet very friendly. Our teacher did not wish for her to hang around and so we took her to the Humane Society to see if anyone was looking for her or if she was Micro Chipped. She wasn't micro chipped and no one had called for her so we took her home where she has become part of the family.
